Honda HA3 HA4 HH4 HH5 Acty rebuilt Remanufacture starter motor 31200-P64-N01

Automotive-related.

It was remanufactured by the manufacturer Denso. Denso remanufactured parts can only be handled by shops that have business relations with Denso.

It’s a curious remanufactured part that even dealerships can’t handle. However, its reliability is supposedly perfect, and initial defects are practically zero.

Well, if they have a testing environment that simulates the actual vehicle conditions, the reliability is high. The starter itself has a simple structure, so I don’t think there are many troubles. Compared to hydraulic power steering and compressors, the structure is simpler and easier to inspect.

I thought the gears would also come back brand new, but it seems that gears mesh better when they are worn down to a certain extent, so even if they are replaced, they seem to be shipped with the corners trimmed down.

Except for the distributor, they blast it to make it look nice, so it also looks great when it arrives. Because the distributor is a precision part, it is often painted rather than blasted due to the risk of various ground-up powders getting inside.

When buying remanufactured parts from Japan through eBay or elsewhere, I think you should avoid sellers who cannot answer what parts have been replaced and whether they are genuine parts. Since 90 percent of them are drop-shippers (selling without stock), I doubt they will be able to answer.
